With great enthusiasm and dedication, Collin Pierson (Grade XII-1, Calvin Christian High School) stepped onto the podium at the 16th Asia Youth International Model United Nations (AYIMUN) conference. Presenting on the topic “Addressing Multilateral Framework on Labor Organization,” Collin achieved the prestigious Best Delegate Award (1st Place) in the ILO Council, surpassing 90 other young delegates.
The conference, attended by 1,000 young delegates from 38 countries, was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from January 17-20, 2025. It was organized by the International Global Network (IGN) with full support from MyCEB and the Malaysian Ministry.
This conference was not just about trophies and awards but also about building connections with world leaders who attended as keynote speakers, including ambassadors from various countries. Amidst differences, Collin and the other delegates demonstrated that true leadership is about mutual respect, collaboration, and finding solutions to global challenges.
This achievement reminds us that with faith, knowledge, and courage, we can overcome great challenges—both in academics and in real life.
